These fit true to size and are made from good quality materials. They’re not made from super thin fabric - it’s a little bit thicker but in a good way. The period part is thicker than the rest of the material but not bulky. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the courage to rely solely on period underwear so I can’t speak for how well they work if this is all you’re using. I got them as a backup in case anything leaks. The price is great (less than $10 right now). I was so happy with these that I just bought a different style from this brand. And that pair was less than $8!

Whatever your main period protection is, this is a great backup method that also works for when you're expecting it or tapering off at the end. I've purchased period panties from two other companies, and this is tied with the better of the two as far as comfort, functionality, and washability go. If it continues to work as well as it is so far, it'll become my favorite, because I prefer the "almost like tee-shirt material" feel of these to the obviously synthetic feel of the other ones. I know they both use synthetic material, but this one feels nicer. And the price is better than it is for that other brand.

The absorbent panel of these panties is about as thin and absorbent as the nicer of the two brands I'd gotten previously - thin enough that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a pad, but absorbent enough that I don't have to wear one unless I don't have anything else with me when the flow gets heavy. Because it's a thong, I wouldn't trust it as anything other than backup on a heavy day. There's just not enough absorbent material there for those days.

I don't normally wear thongs very often, but these are the more athletic style of thong that are comfortable instead of the ridiculous kind. I'll be looking for this company's other types of panties, but I might order a couple more thongs, too. They work well and fit the way they should.

They’re absorbent and soft, but I found them a bit roomy in the waist. Size up if you're between sizes—still decent, just not perfect for me.
