These are a good period panty for lighter days, or when you're wearing tight-fitting clothes and you need an insurance policy for your tampon. The absorbent liner is thicker and more padded than my usual brand, but I didn't really notice it once I was running around doing stuff.

Sizing is always tricky with these type of underwear. I have an EU38, US 4-6, 28 jeans-sized body. The Medium was a little bigger than I would like. I did not have any leaks, but I think next time I'd get a Small for a snugger fit and more peace of mind.

There is no way this thong holds anywhere near "up to 9 regular tampons' worth of leakage" in normal use, however. I would put that number closer to one. It's still a good choice for wearing under gym clothes and on lighter days!

My wife is impressed with the quality of this period thong. The material is synthetic, as are most period panties, but is very smooth, soft, and silky. The padded part is very thin and unobtrusive. The thong is also reasonably wide and comfortable. You do have to adjust to make sure the padding is in the right part, but that’ isn’t difficult. This is a thong with a thin pad, so my wife suggests using this for a tampon or cup backup, or on light days. She is an actress and will also use it on set, as it won’t create panty lines, and will help with nervous sweat. It is a well made garment, easy to hand wash or wash on delicate, and it line dries quite quickly. For the price, this is an excellent pair of period panties.

This is my first pair of period underwear. There is a somewhat stiff panel at the crotch which felt odd in my hands but was not noticeable during wear. I recommend sizing down if you're between sizes. The material is slippery which is very comfortable and feels premium, but it also slid off when I was wearing loose athletic shorts. That turned the stiff crotch panel into a horizontal plank, which wasn't noticeable in the mirror but constantly felt like it was sticking out in loose shorts. I would be more comfortable wearing under a thicker material so I could be more confident the panel wasn't awkwardly protruding.

No leaks, but have a light flow due to a medical condition. I wear liners rather than pads.

The material is good quality. It's thick enough that it feels durable but thin enough to disappear under clothes. It's got a satin like sheen. Very nice. These worked well for me.

This may have been the most comfortable thong I have ever worn. Now I did not use it during my cycle, so I can't speak to the absorbency. But I think this would be good to wear on the days when you think you might start or at the end when it's almost at the end. Even on days you aren't menstruating, wow! It is so comfortable. We women know how uncomfortable things can be. This? This is extremely comfortable to wear. I am of that age now when my period comes and surprises me. So wearing these as insurance, gives me peace of mind. Definately recommend for all days of the month.
